Esther Yim
Esther Yim is a highly respected figure in the world of Permanent Makeup, renowned for her expertise and dedication to ensuring safety and excellence in the industry. As a board-certified instructor, Esther plays a pivotal role in certifying aspiring PMU artists, a mandatory requirement in New Jersey with the American Academy of MIcropigmentation (AAM). With a passion for education and a commitment to raising standards, she serves as a Platinum Instructor for the AAM and a Trainer Member for the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP), specializing in Bloodborne Pathogen Training to impart crucial knowledge on safety and hygiene in PMU procedures.
Driven by a desire to support and empower Korean artists in the New York and New Jersey areas, Esther founded the Korean Permanent Makeup Artists of New York, New Jersey board (KPMA NYNJ). Recognizing the importance of breaking down language barriers within the community, Esther envisioned a platform where Korean artists could come together, share experiences, and support one another.
Through her leadership and advocacy, Esther fosters a collaborative environment where individuals can thrive and grow without linguistic limitations, embodying her belief in the power of unity and mutual support.
